LDEA Sinoe Detachment Arrests Nigerian National With Drugs Worth LD$354,500

Monrovia, Liberia — April 7, 2026: The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), Sinoe County Detachment, has arrested a Nigerian national following the seizure of Kush and cocaine with an estimated total street value of LD$354,500 and US$1,866.

On April 4, 2026, at approximately 7:30 AM, LDEA officers, acting on a search and seizure warrant obtained by the Sinoe County Detachment from the 3rd Judicial Circuit Court in Greenville, arrested Ojukuwu Godwin, a Nigerian national.

During the operation, officers seized the following substances:

Kush: 28.3 grams, valued at approximately US$566 and LD$107,500 Cocaine: 26 grams, valued at approximately US$1,300 and LD$247,000

The combined estimated street value of the seized drugs is US$1,866 and LD$354,500.

The suspect is currently under investigation and will be turned over to the court for prosecution in accordance with Liberia’s amended Drug Law.
