LDEA Terminates Two Action Agents Over Harassment and Professional Misconduct

Monrovia, Liberia — May 5, 2026: The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has terminated, with immediate effect, the volunteer services of two additional Action Agents (AAs) assigned in Monrovia County.

The two individuals are Francis Hodge, formerly assigned to D-2 Base in New Kru Town, and Darlington Flomo, formerly assigned to D-3 Base on Duport Road. Both have been disqualified and removed from the ongoing vetting process for the next batch of volunteers scheduled to undergo training at the Police Academy.

According to the LDEA, the decision follows a concluded internal investigation which established that both individuals were involved in the constant harassment of peaceful citizens, along with other acts of serious professional misconduct.

The Agency maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward corruption, collusion, and any behavior that threatens the enforcement of the law. Accordingly, the eligibility and consideration of Francis Hodge and Darlington Flomo for admission into the LDEA through the current vetting process have been permanently revoked and terminated.

The LDEA has strongly cautioned the public against engaging, dealing with, or recognizing the two individuals in any capacity as representatives of the Agency.

The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency reaffirmed its commitment to discipline, integrity, accountability, and uncompromising enforcement of the law in the fight against drug trafficking and substance abuse.
