Monrovia, Liberia — April 21, 2026: The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has terminated the volunteer services of two Action Agents, Musa Kamara and Icarus Geeplay, following a conclusive internal investigation into allegations of serious professional misconduct.

Effective immediately, both individuals have been disqualified and removed from the ongoing vetting process for the next batch of Volunteer Agents.

According to the LDEA, the internal investigation established that the two individuals were directly and unlawfully associated with drug suspects. The investigation further uncovered acts of serious professional misconduct, including interference in active drug-related cases, unauthorized communication and dealings with suspects, and actions that compromised ongoing operations and undermined the integrity and mandate of the Agency.

The LDEA described the conduct as a grave violation of its professional standards and reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy toward compromise, collusion, and any behavior that threatens the enforcement of the law.

As a result, the eligibility and consideration of both individuals for admission into the LDEA through the current vetting process have been permanently revoked and terminated.

The Agency has strongly cautioned the general public against engaging, dealing with, or recognizing Musa Kamara and Icarus Geeplay as representatives of the LDEA in any capacity.

The LDEA reaffirmed its commitment to discipline, integrity, accountability, and uncompromising enforcement of the law in the fight against drug trafficking and substance abuse.

The Agency urges the public to continue supporting the fight against drug trafficking by reporting suspicious activities through its hotlines:
