The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), through its Sinoe County Detachment, has recorded another significant breakthrough in the ongoing national crackdown against illegal drugs with the arrest of a suspected trafficker in Juazon Town, Sinoe County.
Arrested is 52-year-old Samuel Karzon, a Liberian national and resident of Disco Hill Community, Grand Gedeh County. The suspect was apprehended on May 12, 2026, at approximately 9:00 AM during a targeted enforcement operation conducted by LDEA officers assigned to Sinoe County.
Upon search and inspection, officers uncovered fifteen (15) plates of marijuana weighing approximately 15 kilograms, with an estimated street value of USD 2,236.84, or its Liberian dollar equivalent of over LD 425,000.
