FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The administration of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) wishes to inform the general public that it will be relocating its Headquarters from Barclay Avenue in Fiamah, Sinkor to the Old NSA Building situated in the Police Academy Community in Paynesville City, effective October 19, 2026.
Consequently, the public is hereby encouraged to address all communications to its new address as of the supra date.
In keeping with the Agency’s commitment to professionalize and standardize its operations in alignment with relevant policies and best practices, the administration herewith orders all Action Agents/Volunteers assigned at its Headquarters to stand down from all LDEA’s activities/operations, effective October 19, 2026.
The volunteers will be required to submit relevant academic credentials, police clearances, and other supporting documents to the Office of the Human Resource. The personnel office of the LDEA will communicate with you subsequently on the list of required documents and the appropriate date and time for submission.
This decision is intended to discourage Action Agents/Volunteers from participating in all administrative, operational, and tactical activities of the LDEA, while the administration of the Agency works closely with the relevant government institutions and partners on the possibility of legitimizing their services/status to the Agency through the appropriate procedures.
This decision is phase one of the Agency’s effort in finding a remedy to its increasingly high number of volunteers, while phase two will commence upon the successful completion of phase one, which will include the rest of the volunteers/action-agents nationwide.
Thank you for your attention.
Kind regards,
ASAH G. NIMELY BOYE Human Resource Director LDEA
