On Thursday, March 26, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM, officers conducting a routine search at the Bo-Waterside Port of Entry arrested a male suspect identified as Alpha M. Jalloh, 45, a resident of Mamba Point Monrovia.
The suspect, a Guinean national was found in possession of two (2) packs of Tapentadol Tramadol on board
a blue Toyota mini-bus with Guinean license plate# BH-5002, which is owned and operated by the suspect.
During the search, officers also discovered a huge amount of cash totaling One Million One Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand United States Dollars (USD $1,187,000) concealed in the vehicle.
The seized Tapentadol Tramadol has an estimated street value of LD$50,000 (approximately USD $277.7).
The suspect is currently in custody while the investigation continues to accord the suspect due process by law
This latest operation follows another recent arrest by the same LDEA team involving illicit drugs and cash USD $150,000.
The agency continues to demonstrate commitment to combating drug trafficking and related crimes at Liberia’s borders and further seeks the public's fullest cooperation.
