Kakata, Margibi County – May 23, 2026 — Proceedings before the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in the Quita Kosso Dolo case continue to demonstrate the Government of Liberia’s renewed commitment to accountability and the fight against illicit drugs.

During Thursday, May 21 trial proceedings, suspect Quita Kosso Dolo pleaded guilty in connection with the 2025 cocaine trafficking case involving 3.355 kilograms of cocaine seized at Roberts International Airport, while former LDEA Chief of Operations Abdullai Sheriff also pleaded guilty regarding allegations tied to the disappearance of drug exhibits linked to the case.

The LDEA maintains that all individuals implicated will face the full weight of the law through a fair and transparent judicial process. The Agency further reaffirms its commitment to restoring public trust, strengthening institutional integrity, and aggressively confronting the growing drug threat facing Liberia.
